Anne Mette Hjortshøj. Anne Mette Hjortshøj graduated from the Glas and Ceramic School on Bornholm in 2000. After this, she did an 18 month apprentiship to the legendary Phil Rogers in Wales. She lives ad works on the west coast of the potters island of Bornholm, Denmark.

[3] [2] Thereafter she moved back to Bornholm and set up her own pottery.

The project consists of Iwami Shinsuke, Mashiko, Japan, Ann-Charlotte Ohlsson, Jesper L.Larsen and I, Anne Mette Hjortshøj. As an apprentice, working with Phil Rogers, it was an obvious part of daily life in the studio, to collect and test various clays, woodashes and rock to use as raw materials. I adopted this curiousity in my own work.
